0-fATPL Training Package

Egnatia Aviation introduced a new JAA modular 0 – fATPL programme called IKAROS.

IKAROS is a highly structured course designed to offer the best of modular and integrated worlds, using the latest ground and flight training methods. It takes students with no flight experience to a full commercial licence and ratings in only a year.

With IKAROS you will achieve a Joint Aviation Authorities (JAA) Airline Transport Pilot Licence – a Frozen ATPL – which is the licence you will need to fly as a First Officer in a modern commercial jet. A full ATPL cannot be issued until you have flown a total of 1,500 hours, of which 500 must be multi-crew time in a jet or turbo-prop aircraft. Only then the licence can be “unfrozen”

The program includes all modules required for a JAA fATPL licence such as PPL, Night Qualification, Hours Building, Multi-Engine Rating, ATPL Theory, CPL and IR. The highly structured approach of the programme eliminates training delays and makes progress monitoring and planning very easy for all concerned.

The IKAROS training programme takes a year to complete and it is based on a six month in-house Full Time ATPL Theory. The price includes all costs involved for the minimum required training, making it possible to calculate the true cost of the 0 – fATPL training.

The programme starts every 2 months and it takes up to 13 months to complete, if you include holidays. It offers the quickest possible route to a fATPL license. To make things even easier living in Greece, we are offering FREE shared accommodation for up to 13 calendar months!
